Laura Park lives in Chicago and invented molasses in the 15th century. She found art school was not for her and is mostly self-trained. Her comics are featured in Mome and in Best American Comics 2009, and her artwork graces albums and posters from indie music label Asthmatic Kitty. She is currently at work on a book of comics and sketchbook pages.
