With so much free time to look forward to this summer, it might be time to plan for where the kids are going to be. This summer, there are two week-long comic workshops for kids aged 9+. From July 8–12 or July 15–19 (or both!), kids can spend 3 hours a day working on their comics with other kids their age. Run by current and former CCS alum, they will get to learn from experienced cartoonists and share with their peers.

This short comic guide helps to bring democracy back to the hands of the people by explaining what democracy actually means and how the whole thing works. This guide will be a great jumping-off point to learn about our government.
