Gabby Schulz, aka Ken Dahl, was born and raised in Hawaii. He has authored five graphic novels and a long trail of minicomics, editorial comics, and web comics over the years, earning him two Ignatz Awards, an Eisner nomination, and an Expozine Grand Prix.
Schulz is the author of Welcome to the Dahl House (Microcosm Publishing, 2007), Monsters (Secret Acres, 2009), Weather (Secret Acres, 2012) [out of print], and Sick (Secret Acres, 2016). His most recent book, A Process of Drastically Reducing One’s Expectations, out now from Phase Seven Comics, is a collection of his diary comics from 2013–2016.
Gabby was a fellow at The Center for Cartoon Studies (2007-08).
