CCS alumni programs and services promote, strengthen, and support the vital connection between alumni, faculty, and the college. CCS helps graduates stay connected with each other and the community, bringing both personal and professional benefits. Announcements will be made on the alumni board of any changes and additions to below. Fellows are also included as alumni members.

Lab Access Extended Over Summer After Graduation

Colodny Building and CCS Lab access is automatically available after graduation to alumni for the duration of the summer, until the end of August.

Optional Alumni Annual CCS Lab Access Plan:

CCS alumni can gain unlimited access to the CCS Lab, including: Use of computers on site, printers, scanners, drill, cutter, screen-printing etc.

Annual fee is $225. Purchase from Dave Lloyd (lloyd@cartoonstudies.org)

Term for lab fee: One year from September though August

Some dates are subject to limited or no access given course work, end of semester production crunch times, demos, etc. Dates will be posted in the facility when possible and/or on the message board.

Existing copy/print balances will transfer to the new lab fee year.

Audit Courses

Alumni may audit one course for non-credit/non-grade for a fee of $300 per course. Contact registration@cartoonstudies.org to register and make payment arrangements. Schedules and courses are posted on the the CCS Google Calendar. Space is limited, so try to register as soon as possible.

Courses available include: Publication Workshop, Reading & Writing, Survey of the Drawn Story, and Drawing Workshop.

Message Board

All alumni have access to the CCS online message board.

Special Invitation to Guest Lectures

Alumni will receive special invitations to attend select guest lectures and events. Special invitations will be posted on the message board.

Schulz Library Membership

Alumni have ongoing access to The Schulz Library during its operation hours. Alumni who have paid the annual lab fee also have borrowing privileges, and may check out five items at a time with a loan period of two weeks. All overdue items must be returned before new ones may be checked out, and all items must be returned at the end of each semester.
