The latest book from Andy Warner ′12 just released: Spring Rain: A Graphic Memoir of Love, Madness, and Revolutions (St. Martin’s Griffin). In this autobiographical comic, Andy looks back on 2005 when he traveled to Beirut, Lebanon, to study literature. He meets new friends and experiences the violent outbursts caused as repercussions of a 15-year civil war. As the city descends into chaos and violence, Andy feels his grasp on reality slipping as he confronts traumas from his past and anxiety over his future.
Andy Warner is the New York Times best-selling author of Brief Histories of Everyday Objects (Picador). His comics have been published by Slate, The Nib, popsci.com, Buzzfeed, and many more. He is a contributing editor at The Nib and has taught cartooning at Stanford University, California College of the Arts, and the Animation Workshop in Denmark.
