Did you know about the scholarships for CCS Summer Workshops? The workshops are coming up and if you are looking to get some help to attend, it’s possible! You can get a needs-based scholarship to help cover the cost of the class tuition through The Center for Cartoon Studies.
There are currently two scholarships. One is a general scholarship (up to 40%), which is dependent on annual household income. This is one a first-come-first-served basis; funds are allocated per class. Second is an Upper Valley–specific scholarship for those located in the vicinity of the school. In either case, you just need to send your tax return for the previous year, for your 2017 tax return for the 2018 summer workshops, to Dave Lloyd, lloyd@cartoonstudies.org.
Taxes are due soon, so get a copy of your tax return and peruse the Summer Workshops. The first workshop is Drawing and Writing Single Panel Comics with Hilary Price on June 11–14.
