• How do I apply for the Diamond in the Rough Scholarship?
• Complete the Diamond in the Rough Scholarship Application Form, have your local comic book store provide you with the required information, and mail it to:

• If I don't have a comic bookstore near me, how do I apply?
• To be eligible your application must have a Diamond retailer account number. To locate the nearest comic book retailer call 1-888-COMIC BOOK (1-888-266-4226) or visit http://csls.diamondcomics.com/
  
  
• Is the Diamond in the Rough Scholarship Application Form considered my Admissions Application to CCS?
• No. In order to be considered for enrollment in fall 2007 you must complete the CCS Admissions Application Form. The form and requirements are available online: http://www.cartoonstudies.org/admissions.html
  
  
• If I win the scholarship does this guarantee admission to CCS?
• Your submission qualifies your portfolio portion of CCS Admissions Application. The scholarship committee will send you a copy of the CCS Admissions Application Form which is the final requirement for being awarded the scholarship. They do this because we still need official transcripts, and a completed and signed CCS Admissions Application Form.
  
  
• Should I apply to CCS now or wait until I find out if I won the scholarship?
• CCS has rolling admissions and space is filled on a first accepted basis followed by a waitlist. If you are serious about attending CCS you should complete the CCS Admissions Application Form. Send in all the required items to:

• Can I use the Diamond Scholarship comic for my admissions application required comic?
• Yes.
  
  
• I'm currently enrolled at CCS, do I qualify for this scholarship?
• No. This is a first-year scholarship for incoming fall 2007 enrollment.
  
  
• I have applied to CCS and have been accepted to CCS to begin in the fall of 2007. Can I still apply and win the scholarship?
• Yes.
  
  
• If I win the scholarship can I defer enrollment to 2008?
• No. This scholarship is for the 2007 academic school year only.
  
  
• Can I submit more than one scholarship application?
• No.
  
  
• How will I know my application has been received and is complete?
• CCS will acknowledge all completed applications via e-mail. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  
  
• When will you let us know who won the scholarship?
• We'll post it on the front page of our website on March 1, 2007: http://cartoonstudies.org.
  
  
• Will you notify me if I lost?
• No. Check out the CCS website on March 1, 2007. If it is not your name you didn't win.
  
  
• If I have questions do I contact Diamond or CCS?
• CCS. Diamond will not respond to any scholarship inquiries. E-mail all questions to CCS at chapman@cartoonstudies.org. Phone calls regarding scholarship questions will not be accepted.
